Max Ostro (/ˈmæks ˈɒstrəʊ/, русск. Макс Остроумов [ˈmæks ɐstrɐˈuməf]) — a musician, well-known guitarist, author of a popular YouTube channel. A laureate of international contests. A D'Addario, Swiss Picks, ADV.Sound and Ibanez Guitars artist. An artist of the world's largest guitar platform JTC Guitar (UK). Max Ostro participated in an album recording of a British project called ANYWHEREDOOR along with such artists as Guthrie Govan, Bumblefoot, Mattias IA Eklundh and others.

Max was around 10 years old when he decided to learn to play the guitar. The future musician came to his first lesson in the studio with an old Soviet guitar with one string missing. In the lessons Max learned a few common chords and learned how to play simple songs. Initially he was mastering the art using tabs, later he began to study in more depth, switched to notes and ear-training.

In 2018, Max Ostro was invited to participate in the first D'Addario Guitar Festival (part of the NAMM Musikmesse Russia music exhibition in Moscow) by Julia Rynkova, D'Addario representative in Russia. There he was also noticed by the Ibanez Guitars company.

The biggest influences on Max Ostro's playing style are Nick Johnston, Guthrie Govan, Paul Gilbert, Tom Quayle, Andy Timmons, Jack Gardiner, Ron 'Bumblefoot' Thal, Greg Howe, Frank Gambale, Robben Ford, Allan Holdsworth, Joscho Stephan, Armik and others.
